Before you send a single application in Switzerland, run through this list. It's everything Swiss recruiters expect β print it, tick it off, and you'll look local.

- β Two pages (one page only if you're a graduate)
- β Clean, single-column or two-column layout, consistent fonts
- β Professional photo, top corner, business attire
- β Saved as PDF, named clearly (e.g. CV_Firstname_Lastname.pdf)

- β Full name, address, phone, email
- β Date of birth and nationality
- β Work-permit status (EU/EFTA, B, C permitβ¦)
- β Place of origin (Heimatort) if Swiss
Content
- β Short profile (2β3 lines) tailored to the role
- β Work experience, reverse-chronological, with measurable results
- β Education with institutions and dates
- β Languages rated honestly (A1βC2)
- β Skills, IT, certifications
- β No gaps left unexplained
